Meet the owner Kim
Two life long mates that first met in the gym thirty odd years ago and have worked with their separate companies intertwining ever since…A strong bond was formed with Cornwall and in particular Polperro, many years ago when one of the pals lived in the village painting harbour scenes for the tourists. The other guy was seriously educating himself in the ceramic industry and learning every aspect of the art pottery trade. This cocktail was the basis of a joint desire to bring unique fine art and collectables to the centre of the Cornish village of Polperro. Following four years of offering high quality art to visitors 2024 saw former Director of Moorcroft Pottery, Kim Thompson, take over the business. Kim, with her superior Moorcroft knowledge, and 34 years of retail experience is now the sole owner, driving the Studio, and taking the range of handmade ceramics and quality giftware to totally new heights!
